What is a Patent bet?

The patent is a 3 selection bet consisting of 7 bets: 3 singles, 3 doubles and 1 treble.

The punters 3 selections appear in every part of the bet, the advantage of a Patent is that one winning selection will generate a return however 1 losing selection will heavily impact the potential return. Similar to a trixie bet but preferred by many due to the likely hood of a return even if it is a small one.
